Student Development Theory

For this assignment, you will examine the intersections between student development theory and professional practice. Your assignment should be 7-9 pages in lengths and include the following:

A description of a specific challenge in higher education or student affairs practice referring to diversity in higher education

Descriptions of at least one psychosocial or identity development theory or at least one cognitive-structural or moral development theory that may be applied to create a program, service, strategy, or intervention related to the challenge you have selected.

Detailed description of an existing or proposed program, service, strategy, or intervention that responds to the challenge you have selected. Your program description should specifically incorporate your selected theory.
