Speech Delivery styles

For this discussion, watch two of the following TED talks. The speakers exemplify very different Speech delivery styles. After watching the videos, discuss the speeches’ introductions and conclusions, as well as the speakers’ delivery styles, which include their voices, gestures, and transition.

Reflecting on this week’s video about ethos, pathos, and logos, how does each speaker attempt to appeal to the audience? What do you find most and/or least satisfying about each of these speeches? Compare the two speeches.

Which one did you like better, and why? Finally, what did you learn from watching these two speeches that could help you deliver your own speeches? links to video: (only choose two) My Road Trip Through the Whitest Town in America by Rich Benjamin https://www.ted.com/talks/rich_benjamin_my_road_trip_through_the_whitest_towns_in_america#t-188484
